We are recruiting 10 residential leaders to become the core of our summer team — people who want to lead by doing, laugh loudly, get muddy, get salty, get tired, get energised, and go home with stories you’ll tell for years.

Spend your summer outdoors, challenge yourself daily, and play a key role in delivering unforgettable adventure camps for 12–17-year-olds from the UK and around the world.

You won’t just lead activities, you’ll live them.

Expect your summer to include:

Bouldering, scrambling, tunnelling challenges and confidence climbs

  • Trekking through woodland trails and coastal paths

  • Cooking over fire, building shelters, carving wood and getting smoky

  • Climbing, abseiling, paddling and biking

  • Big coastal days at Durdle Door, Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast

  • Wide-games, night missions, challenge courses and spontaneous chaos

  • Campfires, tournaments, late-night laughs and early-morning starts

You’ll also:

Supervise campers in a 24/7 residential environment

  • Run evening entertainment, night walks, campfires & competitions

  • Take part in rota’d overnight duty and pastoral care

  • Support off-site excursions + adventure days

  • Work outdoors in all weather — sun, rain, mud, breeze — it’s camp life

  • Be a role model, a motivator, a calm head, and a hype-starter

What you need:

Experience working with children/teens (school, sport, youth work etc.)

  • Confidence leading groups and speaking to young people

  • Resilience, energy and a “get stuck in” mentality

  • Willingness to live on-site for the full camp period (June–August)

  • Enhanced DBS + First Aid (or willingness to complete)

Skills that make you even more awesome:

  • Bushcraft / outdoor leadership / DofE / expeditions

  • Climbing, paddlesport, MTB, archery or equivalent qualifications

  • Experience working with international young people

  • Residential or multi-day adventure programme experience

Show us who you are:

We don't just want to read your CV, we want to meet you.

Send a 2–3 minute intro video (optional, but encouraged) showing your personality, energy and why you'd make an unreal Adventure Leader.

Tell us:

  • Who you are

  • Why you're a great fit for Educamps Adventures

  • Show or tell us something fun: a skill, a story, an adventure you've done

  • Bonus points if you film it outside in your natural habitat!

No fancy editing needed — phone camera is perfect.
We’re looking for spark, confidence, character and not perfection.

You can either send the video directly to us as an attachment or upload it to YouTube/Drive/TikTok (unlisted is fine) and share the link by email.

Why join us:

  • £650/week + free meals & accommodation

  • Live in the New Forest — woodland, wildlife, rivers, trails

  • One full day off per week + daily downtime

  • Tight-knit team of 10 fantastic leaders

  • Real adventures, not just generic activities

  • Grow your leadership, outdoor skills & confidence

  • Work with young people from the UK + around the world
