Why We're Giving ICEF Berlin a Miss This Year
This November, we're doing things a little differently at Educamps Adventures. Instead of heading back to ICEF Berlin, we're taking to the road to meet education agents in Italy and Switzerland.
Having attended ICEF last year, we know just how valuable these events can be. Bringing so many people from across the international education industry together in one place creates a great opportunity to meet new people, make connections and explore potential partnerships.
But this year, we've decided to take a different approach.
Taking the Time to Build Relationships Outside of ICEF
For us, building strong partnerships with education agents is about more than introducing our programmes and exchanging contact details.
We want to understand the people and businesses we're working with.
What are families in their local markets looking for? What matters most when recommending an overseas summer camp? And how can we make sure our programmes and the support we provide work for both agents and their students?
These are the kinds of conversations we're looking forward to having.
Rather than meeting everyone in one place at a conference, we want to spend some time visiting agents where they're based, learning more about their businesses and exploring how we might work together.
Beyond ICEF: Our November Plans
From 9th–13th November 2026, we'll be travelling across three cities:
Milan, Italy
Rome, Italy
Zurich, Switzerland
We'll be meeting education agents and potential partners to introduce Educamps Adventures, share more about our summer camp programmes in the UK and, most importantly, learn about the businesses and markets they work in.
We're particularly interested in hearing what agents are looking for in a UK summer camp partner and how we can develop relationships that work well for everyone
A Different Approach for This Year
This certainly isn't to say we're turning our backs on industry events. ICEF brings a huge amount of value to the international education sector, and we're glad to have experienced it.
We're simply keen to try something different this year.
